Ingredients
- 1/4 Chicken Bullion Cubes
- 1 1/2 lbs Chicken Breasts
- 1/4 c Honey
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 c Water
- 2 tbsp Ground Ginger
- 2 c Rice
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 c Soy Sauce
- 1/4 c Hoisin Sauce
- 1/4 c Green Onions
- 1/4 c Toasted Sesame Seeds
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Heat cooking oil in an oven safe pan. Add chicken, brown. In a small saucepan, mix soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, chicken broth (1/4 cup), ginger and pepper. Bring mixture to a boil and simmer to reduce sauce, about five minutes. Pour sauce over chicken, turning to coat.
Place chicken in oven. Bake about 10 minutes or until fully cooked. Stir in sesame seeds.
Serve over rice. Garnish with green onion (or stir fry it in sooner, maybe?)

Notes
Modified slightly when we tried it - cut the chicken into cubes to stir fry, rather than brown + bake. The sauce had a good flavor but was a bit thin; it either needs to reduce more or it just needs less liquid to start with. Maybe less chicken broth or soy sauce next time?
