Ingredients
- 3 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 5 c Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 1 1/4 c Milk
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Mix all but one cup of flour in a mixing bowl.
Spread remaining cup of flour on countertop. Knead dough well. Roll out with rolling pin to about 1" thick. cut into pieces and roll into 1.5" balls.
Boil for 8-9 minutes.
Can be reduced by one cup of flour and one egg - the general rule is for every cup of flour used, use 3/4 tsp baking powder and 1/4 cup milk. Use one fewer egg than the number of cups of flour initially mixed in.
You can do the mixing in a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment, in which case add all but half a cup of the flour and let it mix on a low speed until all the flour is incorporated.
